Terms and Conditions for UIU Conference Promo Draw

1. Eligibility: This promotion is open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.

2. Promotion Period: The promotion begins at 12:01 AM on July 1st, 2024, and ends at 6:00 PM on August 4th, 2024. All entries must be received during the promotion period to be eligible.

3. How to Enter:

   • Purchase a 12-unit case of Crunchie Plantain Chips for $40 using the discount code UIU2024 at checkout.
   • Upon purchase, you will receive a confirmation email with your order number, which will serve as your raffle ticket.
   • Alternatively, you can scan the QR code provided to enter the raffle directly.
   • Multiple entries are allowed; each separate purchase of a 12-unit case qualifies as an additional entry.

4. Prize:

   • One winner will receive a prize of two free round-trip economy tickets to Nigeria, or a $2000 cash prize per ticket, (Delta / United Airlines), whichever is less
   • Prizes are non-transferable and no substitution will be made except as provided herein at the Sponsor's sole discretion

5. Winner Selection and Notification:

   • The draw will be conducted live at the UIU conference on August 4th, 2024, in Atlanta.
   • Winners will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received.
   • Winners need not be present at the UIU conference to win. Winners will be notified via the email provided at the time of purchase within 5 days of the drawing.
   • If a potential winner cannot be contacted or fails to claim the prize within 14 days of notification, the potential winner forfeits the prize and an alternate winner will be selected.

6. Publicity: By participating in this promotion, entrants agree to allow the Sponsor to use their name, likeness, and entry for promotional purposes without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.

7. General Conditions:

   • Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, and/or modify the promotion if any fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond the Sponsor’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the promotion, as determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion.
   • Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the promotion or to be acting in violation of these Terms and Conditions or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.

8. Release and Limitation of Liability:

   • By participating in this promotion, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, advertising/promotion agencies, and prize suppliers, and each of their respective parent companies and each such company’s officers, directors, employees, and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the promotion or receipt or use or misuse of any prize.

9. Disputes:

   • Except where prohibited, entrant agrees that any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the promotion or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in [your state].
